7 Chess Piece Activation Device Locations in Safhe Shatranj Genshin Impact

Apocalyse Lost Genshin Impact - In the Genshin Impact v3.4 update yesterday there was a new map presented by HoYoverse, namely the Desert of Hadramaveth map. This map is part of the map in Sumeru Genshin Impact. There are lots of new exploration areas in this map, besides that, you can also run several world quests from the continuation of previous quests. Not to forget also missions with complicated puzzles that can make you dizzy.

One of them is a mission to find seven activation devices used to activate chess pieces in the Safhe Shatranj area. Some chess pieces in the area can be used to teleport to certain places according to the type of chess piece.

However, before you start looking for this Activation Device item, you must have completed the Apocalypse Lost Series first. The quest can only be triggered after you complete two other Genshin Impact World Quests such as The Dirge of Bilqis and The Fallen Falcon.

Genshin Impact Chess Piece Activation Device

To be able to activate it, you must find all the chess piece activation devices and install them on the structure. The seven activation device items have the same names as the location of the item. You can see the names of the seven activation devices below:

• Deshret's Glass Goblet
• Khaj-Nisut
• The Mousoleum of King Deshret
• Temple of Gurabad
• Border Fort
• King Deshret's Pillar
• Soulferry

Once you find all the activation devices above and put them back on the chess pieces in Safhe Shatranj, you can get quite a lot of rewards, such as 7 Remarkable Chest, and unlock the La Luna Rossa Achievement. In total, you'll get around 40 Primogems from this mission.

7 Chess Piece Activation Device Locations in Safhe Shatranj Genshin Impact

For those of you who haven't run or looked for the activation device quest item, you can see all the locations that will be shared below.

1. Activation Device: Border Fort

The first activation device you can find in Aru village, precisely in front of the Aru village chief's house. Simply teleport in Aru Village and go in front of the Aru Village chief's house and you will find one Border Fort activation device.

Also keep in mind, that every time you get close to the device, it will move away from you. So you have to follow it until you can pick it up.

2. Activation Device: Khaj-Nisut

The second activation device location you can go to the ruins of Khaj-Nisut. You will find the activation device in front of the entrance to the Khaj-nisut ruins.

3. Activation Device: Mausoleum of King Deshret

The location of the third chess piece activation device you can find in front of the entrance to the Mausoleum of King Deshret.

4. Activation Device: Soulferry

The fourth location you can find in the ruins of the Temple of Khemenu. You teleport to the underground area of the Kemenu temple, and search the area. You can see in the picture above for more details.

5. Activation Device: King Deshret's Pillar

The fifth location you can find in the Opet Hall, under King Deshret's Mausoleum. Teleport to the underground waypoint located north of The Mausoleum of King Deshret. Go to the stairs and climb them, you will find the activation device in the area.

6. Activation Device: Deshret's Glass Goblet

The sixth location you can find on Mt.Damavand, teleport to the location area I have marked, and you will find the activation device right next to the waypoint.

7. Activation Device: Temple of Gurabad

The location of the last activation device can be found in front of the ruins of Gurabad, or more precisely above the chessboard that you are currently working on.

After you have found all the chess piece activation devices, then you go to the location of the chessboard in Safhe Satranj. Reinstall the seven chess piece activation devices in the area. And you will get a Remarkable Chest reward that contains a diagram of a teapot building and also 5 primogems for one chest. And also you will get a new Achievement, the La Luna Rossa.

You can already use the chess piece to teleport to the respective destination of the chess field. For example, teleport to Khaj-Nisut or to the Temple of Gurabad.
